The long awaited improvements to the longwards at Sir Christopher Wren’s brick masterpiece Royal Hospital Chelsea (RHC) is well underway.

Striping out and preping during refurbishment to Sir Christopher Wren’s 300+ year old grade 1 listed building

Progress-photography of refurbishment and restoration works to sash windows and interior of 300+ year old grade1 list building, These improvements include the addition of natural light to each berth, on-suite tolet and bath/shower rooms, whilst maintaining quite reading areas for each occupant.

The 2014 Refit architects were Peregrine Bryant, works carried out by Wates Construction and Sub-contrators Bridgegap Ltd.
